Homework

Homework is a worrying problem going into year 7 but honestly it's much worse thinking about than when you get it. You will get a veriety of different homework tasks such as writing, posters and Google Slides. Some teachers will give you more homework than others but it is all manageable. If you can't do homework at home for any reason you can bring it into school and do some at break. Try not to leave homework to the last minute. If you forget homework once don't worry everyone will occasionally forget something but make sure it's not you forgetting your homework every time.

End Of Year Tests:

The end of year tests are a common worry within most year 6's, however, no need to worry. So what happens in the end of year exam period? The exam period lasts for 1 school week (5 days) where you will be given a timetable of all the days and timings of your different tests for each subject will take place and the location of your test.

You will also be given a revision booklet via Google Drive containing all the chapters and contents you will need to revise from in order to get great grades.👍

-You may need to revise a little bit during the holidays in order to maintain great time management.-

Also, another way of keeping organized when it comes to revision is creating an optional Revision Timetable containing all the days and times you will revise for the subjects you struggle with.

-Some subjects such as Computing/ICT may take place 1 week after the End of Year tests take place.

Timings and Timetables

Hey year 6! My group and I are going to tell you about the timings and timetables in senior school. Many of you might be afraid of not knowing where to go. Don't worry, at the beginning of the year the senior school will provide you with a timetable. This timetable has the subjects, timings and, underneath, the classroom area and number (e.g. En1 = first English classroom you pass by).

Tuck shop

The tuck shop is a great way to socialize with your friends at the start of school. Also the tuck shop is ridiculously cheap and offers a large range of food. The canteen always blows refreshing air and relaxes you.

Differences

Hello Year 6 I am going to talk to you about the differences between the senior school and the Junior school. The Junior school does not have a tuck shop like the Senior school and the junior school has a amazing football pitch but the senior school has a slightly smaller one
